Your Path Starts Here

Our 6-course-plus-practicum program covers the science

of reading, the science of dyslexia and an in-depth study of the structure of the English language using the most recent evidence-based support. 

Dyslexia Practitioner Program

The Dyslexia Practitioner program is a 1-year program designed to give you an in-depth understanding of dyslexia and the science of reading, preparing you for eligibility to sit for the Academic Language Therapy Association (ALTA) Competency Exam. 

Program Requirements

  • 140 hours of comprehensive training.
  • 60 hours of hands-on experience.
  • 5 lessons observed by qualified instructors.

Program Includes 

  • Training Period: 1-2 year commitment.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree
  • CEUs: 30 hours over 3 years 

Dyslexia

Therapist Program

Upon successful completion of the Dyslexia Practitioner Program, you are eligible to continue your education to become a Dyslexia Therapist.

Program Requirements

  • 250 hours of comprehensive training.
  • 700 hours of hands-on experience.
  • 10 lessons observed by qualified instructors.

Program Includes 

  • Training Period: 2-5 year commitment.
  • CEUs: 30 hours over 3 years
  • A Master's Degree
